The plot was not easy to plan. A number of partly divergent specifications and conditions on the construction site had to be taken into account. The elongated format of the property with the narrow side facing south and on the driveway side is suboptimally aligned and a constant wind from the seaward side makes outdoor use difficult. The Baltic Sea can only be seen from a certain angle from the upper floor and an extensive and high area requirement for the interior spaces had to be observed and solutions developed.<\/p>\n
We arranged the building in such a way that a wind-protected and partially covered ground floor terrace<\/strong> was created and the garage far forward and close to the driveway obscured the view of the building, the swimming pool with large south-facing glazing and the aforementioned terrace. On the upper floor, the roof terrace, which is located exactly in the limited-free line of sight to the Baltic Sea, provides a view of the water. At the customer’s request, the pent-roof villa was also visualized with a dark clinker brick fa\u00e7ade, which in no way detracts from the modern architecture.<\/p>\n This is the reaction to the handover of our design for a mono-pitched roof house on the Baltic Sea:<\/p>\n “… the first draft convinced us.
