Vision “Explorer ” – An ultra-light, expedition-style vacation home that can be placed almost anywhere in the world in places that were previously off-limits for buildings. With its mirrored façade, it blends almost invisibly into the natural surroundings and thus addresses the issue of nature conservation in its very own way.
The building supplies itself with electricity from solar cells in the outer skin – supplemented by fuel cell technology.
A version with a double wall system is under development. This should integrate the cooling and heating of the living space through the medium of water.
With adjustable telescopic legs, pontoons or suspensions, almost any location can be selected. It is therefore possible to place these structures in or near water, on mountain slopes, on cliffs, in forests and even hanging between trees. Thanks to the ultra-light and modular high-tech design, any object can be transported to even the remotest corner of our planet. High-strength yet particularly lightweight building materials are used. For example, all built-in furniture is made from Alucore – a high-strength aluminum-clad honeycomb core panel. The external dimensions are matched to the usual global format standards for shipping containers, trucks and railroad wagons to ensure the most cost-effective transportation.
The declared aim is to make the most beautiful locations in nature your vacation headquarters. From there, you can explore previously unseen scenic beauties and live at the pulse of nature. It is also conceivable to set up a flat rate for several users who make their properties available to each other or to realize the concept together with a tour operator for trekking trips who would like to offer accommodation for his groups on lonely tours.
One small journey is enough to renew us and the world. – Marcel Proust
